David N. Rutt, a founding partner of Moore & Rutt, P.A., has been reappointed as solicitor for the City of Milford, Delaware through April 2023, and by extension, attorney James P. Sharp of Moore & Rutt is assistant solicitor. The yearly appointment was made as part of the City's annual organization meeting held on May 23, 2022. Mr. Rutt has served as City Solicitor since 2011. During this past year, Mr. Rutt has provided legal advice to all the elected and appointed municipal bodies of Milford as well as to the City Manager and all City departments. The City of Milford has continued its rapid commercial and residential growth and strengthened its distinction as the epicenter of first-class medical care in Southern Delaware. In the coming year now and exciting changes are scheduled to occur including the opening of the new Nemours Medical Building housing the Southern Delaware location of A.I. Dupont Children's Hospital in affiliation with the newly opened Sussex Campus of Bayhealth Medical Center. Mr. Rutt is excited to be a part of the continuing transformation of Milford and is honored by the continuing confidence the Mayor and City Council has in his legal representation.
